Mission Statement

The Assumption School Community, in the presence of God, and as a member of the Assumption Parish Community, is committed to providing a quality Catholic education where children and learning come first.

After School Care

After CaareAfter school care is available from 3:15 p. m. until 6 p.m. to accommodate children of working parents. On early release Wednesdays After School Care begins at 1:45 p.m. Parents who do not need after school care on a daily basis can pay a drop-in fee for days they use this service.

Lay women considering a religious vocation and living with the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother in the convent on the Assumption grounds work in the After Care program. They supervise and assist with homework during the first hour and then direct indoor and outside activities.

After CareWhile working with the students, these energetic, faith-filled candidates discuss the missionary work of the order, take the children to the Eucharistic Chapel, and provide a daily example of their strong Catholic faith.
