What are the school hours?

School hours are 7:55 am – 2:55 pm. Dismissal is staggered depending on grade level.

How early may students be dropped off?

Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:00 am. Between 7:00 am & 7:30 am, students gather in Jordan Hall where there is adult supervision. At 7:30 am, students are dismissed to their classrooms where the teacher is ready to greet them.

Is there After School Care?

After School Care is available on school days from 2:55 pm to 6:00 pm. There is a charge for this service. During After School Care, students are given a snack and then complete homework assignments with teacher supervision.

Is there summer camp?

Assumption Catholic School hosts a summer camp program each year. Information is available in March.

What about tuition?

Tuition and fees are payable over eleven months from May through March. Tuition is collected through FACTS Tuition Management Plan. Payments through FACTS are debited automatically from a designated checking or saving account on the fifth or twentieth of each month as designated by the parent. A credit card may also be used for FACTS for an additional fee. Parents may pay all tuition and fees for the entire year by June 15th.

Families in need of financial assistance may contact the school office for more information. Only parish members who regularly attend Mass may qualify for financial assistance.

What is the uniform policy?

All students are required to wear school uniforms which can be purchased at Sunshine School Uniforms. Sunshine is conveniently located at 8595 Beach Boulevard and their phone number is (904) 620-8076.

Is there a lunch program?

Students may bring their own lunch or may purchase lunch in our cafeteria. Hot lunches are prepared daily and a monthly menu is available on Edline, our school’s communication website. Lunches, snacks, and beverage purchases are made through MyLunchMoney.com. This is a debit payment system since no cash is collected in the cafeteria. Pre-K student must bring their lunch each day.

What if my child is sick or requires daily medicine?

Please call the school by 9:00 am if your child will be absent for any reason. Students who require medication during school hours must have written authorization and directions from the physician along with authorization to dispense forms signed by the parents. All medication is kept in the school office.
