Hot Lunch Program
Popular, healthy food choices are offered daily through the lunch program at Assumption Catholic School under the direction of cafeteria manager, Dianna Hinschberger. Pizza and ice cream are sold Monday. The menu Tuesday through Friday offers a hot or cold entrée. The hot entrée may be purchased alone or with sides at an additional cost. Students may purchase additional a la carte items with the entrée or as a supplement to lunches brought from home. Drinks for purchase include: water, white or chocolate milk, and juice.
Payment for lunches is through a pre-paid Web service at www.MyLunchMoney.com which has been successfully used by Duval County Schools for the past five years. Parents set up a meal account at MyLunchMoney.com using a credit card prepayment. When a child goes through the food service line, the money for the meal is deducted from the account balance, eliminating the need to send money each day for lunch. Using this Web service streamlines the entire lunch process and allows parents to take control of the child’s account.
