Summer 2008 School Renovations

Cloonan LibraryThe Cloonan Library, named after a beloved pastor, was relocated to a larger space in the former Cloonan Hall. The library has 1,100 new books, four new student computers with Internet access, new furniture, shelving, and an area rug. All students from Kindergarten through Grade 8 have one 45 minute class a week in the Library under the direction of Mrs. Temple assisted by parent volunteers.

A magnificent volunteer effort during the summer and beginning of the school year made the relocation possible along with Home School Association funding.

Spanish ClassroomThe former library was renovated for a Spanish classroom for the 2008-09 school year. Mrs. De Soto will have an interactive white board connected to her computer workstation allowing her to use Internet media for instruction. An area of the room has a large rug where the younger students can sit during group instruction.

Middle School students have two 45 minutes classes weekly and the younger students meet two times weekly for 30 minutes each.
